The History of Lori's Mobile Notary & Fingerprinting
The history of Lori’s Mobile Notary and Fingerprinting. I became an independent notary public after having my third child and leaving my full-time career in Escrow. I proceeded to do independent notary work for the title company I could no longer work full time for after the scheduling conflicts of three children. During this time, I was very busy doing loan signings with the title company in the years of 2000 through 2004 during the refinance craze. It started to slow down after that time, and I wanted to continue being independent. So I would brainstorm with myself, thinking of what else I could do to incorporate more business which at the time was “Lori’s Mobile Notary."
As I researched, I came across fingerprinting that was newly electronically sent called Live Scan. After 6 months of getting approved, getting a business loan and leap of faith I was the first privately owned Live Scan business other than the Police or Sheriff in Santa Barbara in January 2006. I found my office known as “Lori’s Mobile Notary and Fingerprinting” and it remains in the same location today. I slowly started to cold call businesses and go to places to let them know they had another option to go for livescan. I slowly started to add other services one by one. Passport photos and services, Apostille services, DMV registration services and Vin Verifications over the years.
I take pride in my company and am grateful to help our community with our services. Customer service, efficiency and an easy process we strive for daily. My team continues the success of my company and represents what I have built. Thank you for being a part of Lori’s Mobile Notary & Fingerprinting and hope you enjoy working with us and the community we serve.
